Membership

Membership of the Association is required in order to register an interest in- or rent- an Allotment or Starter Plot.

Each member are entitiled to 1 vote at any General Meeting of the Association

Membership is a one-off payment, the current individual membership fee is £10.

Allotment Plots

The allotment site has:
  • 14 x 200 sqm plots;   Annual Rent (2024) - £88.00
  • 1 x 115    sqm plot;     Annual Rent (2024) - £51.00
  • 14 x 100 sqm plots;   Annual Rent (2024) - £44.0
  •  4 x 70    sqm plots;   Annual Rent (2024) - £28.00
  • 2 x 50 sqm plots;       Annual Rent (2024) - £20.00
  • 10 x 3  Approx starter plots are free         â€‹
Plots are let on a calendar year basis, with rents being payable by 31 January. All plots are currently let, but the Association operates a waiting list.

Rents for low-income plot holders can be reduced, waived or paid by instalments at the discretion of the Association Board.​

Community Garden Starter Plots

The allotment site has a Community Garden with areas for communal growing and small private starter plots, for indivdiuals, families or groups. Starter plots are approximately 9sqm in size that is (3m x 3m). If you are new to growing your own, or are not sure you'll have the time to look after a larger plot, these are a great option.

Starter Plots are free to enthusiastic beginners.
